UPDATE to MAC support.

Although Numonics follows the two industry operating systems leaders by constantly upgrading our software to remain compliant with Microsoft and Apple there are times when these manufacturers make it extremely difficult. We are experiencing one of those times now with the most current MAC operating system.

It is generally more difficult to stay current with Apple as a result of their “upgrade philosophy”. As of October 15th all Numonics interactive Whiteboard products and Intellislate remote devices are compatible with Mac OSX 10.4 through 10.6.8 running on Intel processors provided they are implementing the 32 bit kernel. At this time we do not support the 64 bit kernel version. We have investigated the newest MAC Lion 10.7.0 OS version and are in the process of further modifying our software to be complaint as soon as possible. As a result of incompatibilities created by this version of the MAC OS we missed our planned release of our software upgrade. This is a time consuming and expensive process and we plan on releasing by the end of the Q2 2012 provided we do not encounter any other MAC anomalies. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Intelliboard will be released first, followed by DPAII.
